AI Automation
A high-volume repetitive process automated and then kept running, monitored on task success, human intervention rate and cost per completed task against a baseline.
| How it is bought | Fixed project, then monthly recurring |
| Duration | Build 4 to 10 weeks, then ongoing |
| Written for | Organisations automating a high-volume repetitive process and keeping it running |
Automation that nobody owns degrades. The model drifts, the inputs change shape, and the supervision cost quietly grows until the saving is gone.
What you receive
Named artifacts, not activities. If one of these is not delivered, the engagement is not complete.
- The automated process, in production, with its evaluation set
- Monitoring on the metrics that actually predict failure: task success rate, human intervention rate, and cost per completed task
- A monthly report against the baseline captured before the build
- Ongoing tuning as the inputs change, which they will
- A written statement of what remains manual and why
How it runs
- Build: baseline, evaluation set, implementation, production hardening.
- Run: monitoring, monthly review against the baseline, and tuning as inputs drift.
What this deliberately does not include
Published with the same prominence as the deliverables. A scope with no stated exclusions is a scope that will be argued about later, and the argument always happens at the worst possible moment.
- Processes whose output cannot be verified. If nobody can tell whether it was right, it cannot be improved and we will say so at scoping.
- Replacing a system of record.
- A headcount reduction commitment. Freed time is capacity until someone is redeployed to something you can name.
How you know it is finished
It hits the agreed task success rate, and the monthly report shows the net position including supervision.
What you need ready
The current process documented or demonstrated, historical volumes, and a named process owner.
Every engagement starts with a written scope confirmation before any invoice is raised. Nothing here is a click-to-buy: we confirm what you need, agree the scope in writing, then invoice. If the scoping conversation shows that a smaller engagement, or none at all, is the right answer, we say so before anything is signed.
